Dr. Mutahir Abidi is a board-certified rheumatologist with more than 15 years of experience treating patients with joint pain, inflammatory arthritis, and autoimmune conditions. At the Arthritis Institute, he focuses on diagnosing and treating arthritis, osteoporosis, and autoimmune diseases that affect the joints, muscles, and immune system.
He earned his medical degree from Ross University in 2000 and completed his residency and fellowship at Hahnemann University Hospital. Since opening the Arthritis Institute in 2005, his approach has been centered on personalized arthritis care based on each patient’s symptoms and diagnosis.
Dr. Abidi is committed to helping patients understand their condition and receive the right treatment for long-term relief. The clinic treats a wide range of autoimmune conditions and accepts most major insurance plans, including Medicare.
Physician Assistant – Rheumatology
Brandon Hom, PA-C, physician assistant with a strong background in rheumatology and musculoskeletal care. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology with honors from The College of New Jersey in 2012, followed by a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Rutgers University (formerly UMDNJ) in 2015.
Brandon has spent the majority of his career specializing in rheumatology, where he has developed extensive experience in diagnosing and managing complex autoimmune and inflammatory conditions. In addition to his rheumatology expertise, he brings valuable clinical experience in orthopedics, sports medicine, and physiatry (physical medicine and rehabilitation), allowing him to take a comprehensive, patient-centered approach to care.
He is committed to helping patients improve mobility, manage chronic conditions, and enhance their overall quality of life through personalized treatment plans.
Outside of clinical practice, Brandon enjoys hiking, camping, traveling, attending live shows, and is an avid fan of the New York Mets.
